It is very troubling to me. I grew up in a house with over forty guns. Two were always loaded. :D Justin and I have already applied for the permits we need. :) Just waiting on those to clear before I can "pack heat"! LOL LOL Okay, I just had to say that. But with all seriousness I have used 'rifles' and bows for more than half my life (no wisecracks there, either please. :P ) I know some people were telling me I had to put the gun in a lockbox with a trigger lock on it and yada yada yada. My answer was pretty much what you said. How can I get to the gun before the intruder gets to us? The bullets in the gun is weighing on me heavily. I haven't really decided yet.
